When you first log into your CloudRadial tenant, your own company will appear as the only client in the portal. You can view your full client list by navigating to Partner > Clients.
To add a new client, navigate to Partner > Clients and click Add in the top right corner. All fields can be edited later, so don't worry about getting everything perfect on the first pass.
Before you begin, note: The two most important tabs are Details and Groups. Make sure to review these carefully during initial setup to avoid missing any critical configuration.
Client setup is organized across five tabs:
To remove a client from the portal, follow the steps below.
The Details Tab
The Details tab contains the core configuration for a client company. The fields are organized as follows:
1. PSA Company Identifier (Optional, but recommended)
This field only appears if a supported PSA is connected to your CloudRadial tenant. Use the Lookup field to link the PSA company record to the locally created company in CloudRadial. This connection drives user sync and gives those users the ability to log in and view tickets in the portal.
ConnectWise users: A mass import option is available via a small text button at the top of the client add panel. Use this carefully and map each field intentionally to avoid mismatched company records.

2. Microsoft 365 Tenant Identifier (Optional, but recommended)
If you've connected your Microsoft Partner account to CloudRadial and manage clients through a delegated administrator agreement, use the Lookup field to link the M365 tenant to the local company record. This syncs M365 users and pulls in license and usage data.
If you're not a Microsoft Partner or the client isn't under delegated control, M365 data can still be connected manually.
- Learn more about Microsoft 365 connections: https://radials.io/partnersetup
3. Name
The display name for the company within CloudRadial. If a PSA or M365 connection is configured, this field will auto-populate. This name may be visible to your clients depending on your branding settings. Since it doesn't sync externally, you can rename a company here freely without affecting any integrations.
4. Feature Set
Controls which options appear in the client's left-hand navigation menu. The Default feature set exposes all available CloudRadial features unless you've modified it. Any custom feature sets you've created will also appear here.
- Learn more about Feature Sets: https://radials.io/FeatureSets
5. Additional Preferences (Optional)
These checkboxes control optional features on a per-company basis:
-
Enable email message delivery to company users – Allows users at this company to receive daily digest emails. These are not sent automatically; they're triggered through the portal's built-in messaging feature.
- Learn more here: https://radials.io/DailyDigest
-
Enable real-time message delivery to all company users – Allows users at this company to receive broadcast and push notification messages.
- Learn more here: https://radials.io/Broadcasts
-
Enable Bigger Brains courses – Unlocks access to third-party learning content from Bigger Brains. This is off by default as it requires an additional cost to activate.
- Learn more here: https://radials.io/BiggerBrains
-
Show MFA status in user lists – Displays each user's MFA on/off status within this company's user list. Enable this if you actively track MFA compliance for your clients.
- Learn more here: https://radials.io/MFA
The Groups Tab
The Groups tab is where you assign one or more groups to the company. Company groups control how content is provisioned to that company through the content area, so it's important to configure these correctly during setup.
- Learn more about company groups: https://radials.io/CompanyGroups
The Customizations Tab
The Customizations tab contains per-company overrides for a handful of portal behaviors. All fields here are optional.
1. Policy Report Email (Optional)
Once compliance policies are configured, you can have daily status reports sent to a designated email address for that company.
- Learn more about compliance policies: https://radials.io/Policies
2. Search Websites Override (Optional)
CloudRadial's search bar crawls both internal resources and any websites configured at the Partner (global) level to help resolve user queries.
This field lets you override those websites for a specific company — useful when most clients should search one resource (e.g., support.microsoft.com) but a particular client needs a different one (e.g., support.google.com for a G Suite client).
3. User Profile Info (Optional)
When a user clicks their name in the top-right corner of the portal, CloudRadial displays a basic profile panel. This field lets you override the Partner-level (global) default to show different information for users within this specific company.
The Integrations Tab
1. CloudRadial Chat - (Optional)
If you are also enabling CloudRadial chat, you can turn on a specific, customized channel ID for this client by specifying it here.
1. Desktop Application - (Optional)
CloudRadial can operate both via the cloud-based application and via a desktop application. One of the benefits of operating from a desktop application is the ability to log in automatically via Azure AD - but to do this, you need to specify the SID in this field to let CloudRadial know where to allow auto-login from.
- Learn more about setting up Azure AD login here: https://radials.io/ADSID
2. 3rd Party Add-ons - (Optional)
CloudRadial hosts a wealth of integrations. As such, you must remember to consult with this section to finish the integration(s) so that the company you're setting up sees its data.
Much like the PSA or Microsoft 365 connections, you must ensure that the company-specific identifier for the 3rd party app is placed against the company via the Lookup field.
The Branding Tab
The Branding tab gives you control over company-specific branding, mirroring the same settings available at the Partner (global) level, with the addition of custom domain control.
Applying custom branding per client is entirely optional — if none is configured, the company will inherit the global branding set at the Partner level.
Important: Custom branding will not take effect until you check the Apply custom branding for this company? checkbox.
1. Portal (Optional)
Select a theme override for this specific company, changing elements like the sidebar color and top title bar color — the same options available at the global level.
- Learn more about portal-level branding here: https://radials.io/Branding
2. Locale Options (Optional)
Customize date formats, time zones, currencies, and report paper sizes on a per-company basis. This is particularly useful for partners who manage clients across different regions with different standards.
3. Email Settings (Optional)
Override the default email settings for this company, affecting the details within outbound communications such as approval emails and daily digests. This is most commonly used in co-managed environments where IT support is handled by an in-house or alternative team rather than the MSP.
4. Custom Domain (Optional)
Assign a custom domain to this company that is distinct from both the default .cloudradial.com domain and any custom domain set at the Partner level.
Domains follow the format customname.us.directportal.com (or .site). A green indicator means the domain is available; a red indicator means it's already taken.
5. Log In Page (Optional, requires custom domain)
If a custom domain is configured, you can further customize the company's login page with a custom name, logo, and wallpaper for a fully branded portal experience, as well as customizing login options for this specific client.
Removing a Company
Removing a company is straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to Partner > Clients
- Click the three blue dots next to the company name and select Edit
- Click the red trash icon to initiate deletion
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Important: Before removing a company, keep the following in mind:
- Any agents deployed to that company will receive an automatic uninstall command upon the next checkin, triggering a self-uninstall.
- Any content created on the company level on the company's tenant will be permanently deleted. Download or migrate any necessary data before proceeding.
