The Ingram Micro real-time extension lets you view prices and availability directly from the Ingram APIs/website inside CloudRadial Storefront. When you search for products, the pricing and current availability will be refreshed for all products in your search results. You will also be able to see detailed warehouse availability, and an ETA for the next shipment of products (if provided).
The v6 extension uses the Ingram Micro Product Catalog v6 APIs.

Registering an Ingram Micro Developer Integration
To set up the Ingram Micro real-time extension, you must create a developer account on the Ingram Micro website, and register an application to get a Client Secret and Client ID.
Please Note: This process can take up to 4 days to complete.
Registering for a Developer Account
- Navigate to the Ingram Micro developer portal at https://developer.ingrammicro.com
- Select the Sign Up button
- Choose Reseller for the type of partner account
- Fill out the application on the next page. You will need your Ingram Micro Customer Number.
You will then need to wait for your account to be approved. You can email your account representative to check on the status of your application.
Registering the Storefront Integration
- Sign into the Ingram Micro developer portal
- Click the Add Production App button
- Fill out the New App form making sure to check the Product Catalog v6 checkbox.
- Tip: Adding your Account manager's email can speed up the approval process
- Tip: CloudRadial Storefront is made possible thanks to a partnership with Adaptive Catalog. Adding the following fields will help Ingram recognize the integration:
- Name: Adaptive Catalog Integration
- Description: Integration for Adaptive Catalog to pull pricing and availability
- API Catalog: Product Catalog v6
-
Account Manager Email: Your account manager email goes there
- Click the Add App button
You will need to wait for your integration to be approved by the Ingram Micro development Team. You can email your representative to let them know you've requested this to try and speed up the process.
Read the step below about the SFTP Pricing File before you email them (since you can include both requests in a single email).
(Optional, but Recommended) Requesting an SFTP Price File
You can request an SFTP Price File from your account representative at Ingram Micro.
This file contains price and product data to ensure that Storefront search will work even when the API does not - something that is unfortunately common for distributors.
To avoid errors when a user uses the search, this is heavily recommended.
In the same email that you send to let them know about the App Registration, you can ask for the SFTP File. Below is some sample copy to use for your email, if needed:
Hello, I'm currently setting up an API interface to Adaptive Catalog/CloudRadial Storefront for customer-facing quotes. I've already submitted the request in the developer portal. Can you please make sure it goes through? I'd also like to get a copy of the SFTP price file. Thank you. |
Per Ingram Micro, you can also directly contact 1800-616-4665 or you can email Electronic.Services@ingrammicro.com to request the price file.
Filling Out the SFTP File Request Form
Once you request the SFTP price file, you will likely receive a form from Ingram Micro for the request. This form is typically two pages long and requires you for:
- Customer Information - your account info with Ingram Micro
- File Type - the specified layout. Standard Layout is acceptable.
-
File Filtering - mark an X for all options in the Yes column
On page 2:
-
Requested Field - mark an X for all requested fields
