The CloudRadial Chat connector for Syncro uses an API token to connect to your PSA. This connection lets tickets be submitted to the PSA from Chat and connects Chat users to their respective tickets within Syncro.
Step 1: Create and Configure an API Token in Syncro
To connect the two systems, generate an API token in Syncro with the rights Chat needs. The token inherits the permissions of the user account that creates it, so for least privilege, generate it from an account limited to the rights below.
- Log into your Syncro instance.
- Click your username at the top right of the page to open your profile options.
- Click Profile/Password to show your details.
- Click the API Tokens link just underneath your name.
- Click the + New Token button at the top right.
- Open the Custom Permissions tab.
- Name the token
CloudRadial Chat(or similar, so it's identifiable). - Leave the Expiration date blank so the token works indefinitely; you can disable it later if needed.
- Tick the boxes for the rights below, then continue. (These are the rights Chat uses; they may change as the Syncro API evolves.)

- Click Create API Token at the bottom.
- Copy the API token and store it; you'll need it in Step 2.
- Press Done to finish.
Step 2: Enter Your Values Into CloudRadial Chat
Once you have your Syncro instance URL and API token, set up the connection in Chat. You can do this in the setup wizard, or, if you're changing PSAs, under Connectors as described below.
- Log in to your CloudRadial Chat account.
- Go to Connectors from the left-hand menu and select Syncro under the PSAs option. You may need to add the connector using the button at the top right.
- Enter your details:
-
Your Syncro Subdomain — your Syncro instance URL's subdomain identifier (for example, if you have
