How does CloudRadial obtain domain information?
This tab is always present, but it only automatically populates when an Office 365 tenant has been connected to a specific company. The information pulled into this tab is pulled directly from Office 365's domain tracking function.
Selecting a given domain will further drill down into its details, which currently includes:

- URL
- Domain ID
- Creation date
- Updated date
- Expiration data
- Name servers

- A records
- CNAME records
- Etc.
How often is this data refreshed?
The information listed within this report is updated once per day at a minimum when the nightly sync happens with Office 365 tenants.
The information can be manually pushed if a Partner syncs the domains manually, which can be done in a given client's company via Infrastructure > Domains > Sync (at the top right).
Adding and editing domain tracking information manually
You can add domains manually into a given tenant for tracking purposes. This process only applies for domains that were not automatically pulled in by Office 365.
The process is as follows:
- Navigate to a given company's Infrastructure > Domains section
- Select the +Add button at the top right
- Fill out the domain details as prompted
- Select Submit to finalize the creation of the domain entry
CloudRadial will scan your manually added domains for additional information as needed. You can prompt the scan via the Sync button at the top right for a quicker information pull.
Once the domain has been created, you can also edit it later on by selecting it and using the Edit option at the top right to modify it further.
Finally, you can also set up a relevant compliance policy to trigger alerts and actions on domains about to expire.
Adding and editing domain certificates
Aside from just domain tracking, you can also add certificate tracking information as needed after a domain has been added into CloudRadial.
This must be done manually for any domain and will not happen automatically. To do so:
- Navigate to a given company's Infrastructure > Domains section
- Select the Certificates tab
- Select the +Add button at the top right
- Fill out the certificate details as prompted on an existing domain
- Select Submit to finalize the creation of the domain entry
CloudRadial will scan your certificates for additional information as needed. You can prompt the scan via the Sync button at the top right for a quicker information pull.
Finally, you can also set up a relevant compliance policy to trigger alerts and actions on certificates about to expire.
Note: Wildcard certificates are not supported at this time.
How should partners be using this information?
From both a cybersecurity and compliance standpoint, domain information reflects the retention of intellectual property and security processes. Domains found nearing expiration (or expired altogether) can pose a serious brand risk to organizations.
Similarly, expired security certificates can at best pose a compliance threat to organizations with unsecured websites. At worst, it can be a leading factor in a successful cyberattack.
Reviewing and remediating against information discovered in these domain reviews can ensure organizations remain proactive in their domain efforts.
Title: Why some domains show "Unavailable" for Expiration
In Infrastructure > Domains, the Expiration column shows Unavailable for certain domains. This is expected for domains under specific country-code extensions
Why it happens
CloudRadial reads domain expiration dates from each domain registry's public directory service (WHOIS/RDAP). Some national registries deliberately omit the expiration date from their public output as a matter of policy. When the registry doesn't publish it, CloudRadial has no authoritative source for the date and shows Unavailable. (We still display what the registry does publish — registrar, name servers, and status.)
The most common example is .au: the Australian registry (auDA) does not publish expiration dates publicly. This applies to all Australian namespaces — e.g. yourbusiness.com.au, .net.au, .org.au, .id.au, and direct .au.

How to check expiry for these domains
Because the registry doesn't publish it, get the expiration date from your domain registrar directly — via your registrar's control panel or renewal notices.
