Feature Sets allow you to define the home page a client sees when they first log in to the portal.
Please Note: You must have Company > Applications enabled for the custom Support Home page to work, since it pulls the icons from that area.
Understanding the Standard Home Pages
The four standard choices for the client's home page are:
- Company Applications - Displays the list of applications and status information. This option is best for providing a client intranet where clients work together with you to define their applications and other company information.
- Company Knowledge Base - Displays the knowledge base page.
- Support Home - Displays a consolidated view of menu options, knowledge base articles, and status information. This option works best for providing clients with a comprehensive support and reporting portal.
- University Courses - Displays the Courses page.
Customizing Support Home with Your Own Options
If you're looking for the look of the Support Home feature set (CloudRadial's most popular), but you want your own items there - you're in luck.
You can override the Support Home with your own menu items. This will also automatically include knowledge base articles on the bottom half of the home page.
To do so, you need two key things to be aligned:
- The company (or companies) must have a Support Home feature set assigned with the checkbox for Use menu items flagged as Support Home enabled
- The companies must have Menu Items (aka Applications) assigned to them that are checked with the option for Show on the Service Home page if menus are enabled
If these two things are in agreement, the home page will display with anything marked with that checkbox in the Menu Items area.

Recreating the Support Home Items
If you want to recreate the default Support Home items in addition to your own custom options, add the following items in a content package under the Menus section and select the checkbox Show on the Service Home page if menus are enabled within each menu item.
Publish to companies to match their Feature Set.
