The template functionality allows you to apply a text template into the Meeting Notes field within CloudRadial's Planner. Applying templates can expedite the process of logging notes and make for more streamlined and uniform data entry.
How to Set Up Templates
To utilize templates, we'll first need to create them and then apply them to meeting notes.
- Log in to your CloudRadial tenant
- Navigate to Partner > Settings
- Select Templates from the Configuration menu on the right
- Select +Add Template at the top right
- Enter the necessary information for the template
- Subject - the title of the notes. We recommend making this something generic (such as *Month* Review Notes or similar) so that you can easily customize it on the client-side when adding notes.
- Notes - The format of the body of their notes. We recommend making this an outline of topics of discussion, or a format that can easily accept user inputs after the template has been applied.
- Is this the default meeting template? - Determines whether the template will be applied to the meeting notes by default without having the Partner apply the template manually. Only one default template can exist at a time.

- Once you're satisfied with the template, select Submit to finalize its creation
How to Apply Templates
Templates can be applied to meeting notes within the Planner either manually or automatically (when selected as the default meeting template). To apply templates:
- Log into your CloudRadial tenant
- Navigate to Account > Planner within a given company
- Select the Meetings tab
- Select +Add at the top right to add new meeting notes
- If you have a default template selected, it will automatically append the Subject and Notes into the meeting notes area for you.
- If you do not have a default selected, or if you want to select another template to apply instead of the default one, use the Add a meeting template text button to perform a lookup and search for another template to add
- Press the Enter key to load all templates. Or, enter the name of the template you're looking for and then press Enter. This will load the available templates from the list in Partner > Settings > Templates.
- Once the preferred template has been added, enter your additional notes and select Submit at the bottom to finalize the settings

- If CloudRadial detects any notes entered in a template, it will append another template below the currently applied template. This is to save the entered text and prevent accidental data deletion.
