CloudRadial works with AI agents that can take action on your behalf, not just answer questions. CloudRadial plugins connect AI assistants like Claude and Codex straight to your CloudRadial portal. Once connected, you can look up clients, report on data, and build or update portal content by describing what you want in plain language.
This article covers what the plugins can do and who they're for. The installation steps, plugin files, and technical documentation are kept on GitHub, so they stay current as the plugins change:
Please note that this is not available to CloudRadial Starter accounts - you must have either CloudRadial UCP Professional or Enterprise to access these features.
What is agentic AI?
A typical AI chat tool answers questions from what it already knows. An AI agent can also connect to your systems, pull live data, and complete tasks that take several steps.
Say you ask "Which of Contoso's endpoints are missing our standard AV?" The agent finds the company, pulls its endpoint list, filters it, and gives you the answer. You don't have to click through the portal or export anything.
Supported AI tools
CloudRadial has plugins for these AI tools:
- Claude Cowork and Claude Desktop: for day-to-day work by account managers, implementation specialists and service teams. View on GitHub
- Codex and Claude Code: for technical users who work in coding and command-line tools. View on GitHub
The plugins can do the same things. Pick the one that matches the AI tool your team already uses.
What you can do
Prepare for client meetings
Before a call, get a quick overview of any client's portal: users, endpoints, content, and how far along their setup is.
Report on your data
Ask questions across companies, users, endpoints, feedback, assessments and services. For example:
- "How many active users does each of my clients have?"
- "List endpoints for Contoso that are out of warranty."
- "Summarize the feedback we received this month."
Build and manage portal content
Create or update articles, catalogs, menus and courses. You can draft a KB article, build a training course with lessons, or set up starter content for a new client portal.
Onboard new clients
Work through portal setup for a new client company, including configuration checklists and seeding content.
Review compliance and assessments
Check assessment results and flexible asset data for one client or across all of them.
Administer your account
Access archived reports, certificates, company groups, media files and API tokens.
Who it's for
These plugins are built for MSP teams who work in CloudRadial every day, especially anyone who spends time gathering portal data by hand. You don't need to know how to script. You describe the task and the agent does the work.
What you'll need
- An AI tool that supports plugins, such as Claude Cowork, Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex
- CloudRadial API keys
- The CloudRadial plugin for your AI tool, installed using the steps on GitHub
After you install a plugin, ask your AI assistant to "set up the CloudRadial plugin." It will walk you through connecting your portal.
EU partners: choose the EU API region during setup.
Security
The plugins connect to your portal through the CloudRadial API, using API keys you provide during setup. They can only access what those keys allow. Your keys are validated and stored securely, not in plain text or in the conversation.
The plugins can create, update and delete records. Review what the agent proposes before you approve changes to live client data. For details on how credentials are handled, see the GitHub documentation for your plugin.
