Configuring FlexPoint
You only need the client payment portal URL from FlexPoint. Authentication of each user is handled automatically behind the scenes for users between CloudRadial and FlexPoint.
To find the URL:
- Log in to your FlexPoint account as an administrator
- Select Settings > General from the sidebar
- Copy your client payment URL from the top message
We will then insert this link into CloudRadial UCP to complete the integration.
Configuring CloudRadial
To complete the integration, we will add the FlexPoint URL to your CloudRadial UCP tenant.
- Log into CloudRadial UCP as a Partner Administrator
- Navigate to Partner > Settings
- In the Configuration column, select Integrations, and select FlexPoint
- Once on the FlexPoint page:
- Tick the checkbox to Enable FlexPoint payment portal?
- Paste your URL that you copied from the first step
- Click Submit when you're finished
Accessing FlexPoint from within UCP
Once you have FlexPoint connected to CloudRadial UCP, your admins can navigate to Account > Invoices to see their listed invoices. Note that these are pulled from your connected PSA system, NOT FlexPoint itself.
The link to FlexPoint appears as the button at the top-right of the page via the Open Payment Portal button.
Alternate Ways to Invoke the FlexPoint SSO
In addition/as an alternate way to providing access to FlexPoint via Account > Invoices, you can provide a token within the Company > Applications area to provide easy access to the FlexPoint portal.
To do so:
- Create a menu application for a given client within their Company > Applications area
- You can also do this for multiple clients through the Content area by following the steps below and publishing the menu item to your desired clients.
- Give the item a Category and Name of your choosing
- Commonly, Partners choose Payments as the Category and Invoice Portal as the Name.
- For the URL, enter @PaymentPortal
- This token will invoke the SSO FlexPoint portal, just as it does through the button in Account > Invoices.
- This token will invoke the SSO FlexPoint portal, just as it does through the button in Account > Invoices.
- Choose an icon and color of your choosing, as well as any additional customization options.
- Due to the nature of invoices being more administrative, you may want to change the Group assignment to only the Admin group
- This prevents any users below Admin-level permissions from even seeing the payment portal option. You can either do this from the tab when creating the menu item for a single company or by modifying the content package from within Partner > Content.
- Select Submit to finalize your selection.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Notices
- You can only have one payment integration enabled at a time - if you want to transfer from another existing integration, you will need to remove
- A Partner administrative user is not an end-user. The FlexPoint link does not work on an administrative account or using the Impersonate option. You must be an actual, non-impersonated user to test the SSO connection.
