Note: The Liongard integration is emerging and still in Preview mode. As new integrations are unlocked within the Liongard integration, we'll update this article accordingly.
Please see the chart at the bottom of this article for more details.
Liongard integration adds data throughout CloudRadial based on it's type. Liongard environments can be assigned to companies on the Partner > Clients tab.
Because the intention is to pull only the most client-relevant data, not all information will be pulled through.
To set up the integration, follow these steps:
1. Create the API Key in Liongard and Note Your URL Prefix
After you access your Liongard tenant, follow these steps to generate an API key for CloudRadial.
- Select your name at the top-right of Liongard's navbar
- Select Account Settings
- Select Access Tokens on the left-hand navbar
- Select the Generate New Token button
- Copy the Access Key Id and the Access Key Secret and hold on to these in a secure location
Aside from the API key itself, CloudRadial also requires the URL prefix to secure the connection to Liongard. You can find it by:
- Selecting My Liongard Instance on the same left-hand navigation bar as previously used for the API key.
- Noting the URL prefix (case sensitive)
- In this case, it would be "safari".
- In this case, it would be "safari".
2. Paste the API Key and URL Prefix into CloudRadial
Back in CloudRadial, we'll need to tie in the information to your tenant.
- Navigate to Partner > Settings
- Select Integrations on the right-hand column under Configuration
- Select Liongard
- Check the box marked as Enable Liongard?
- Paste in the values mentioned above:
- Your URL prefix (and JUST the prefix) meaning remove the ".app.liongard.com" in the Instance Name field
- The Access Key Id
- The Access Key Secret
- Click on Test Credentials once the values have been pasted.
- If successful, you'll see a success message at the bottom-right of the screen.
- If unsuccessful, you'll see an error message at the bottom-right of the screen.
- Try to re-generate a new API key if this occurs. If it's still failing, please open a ticket.
3. Tie the Liongard Data to Specific Clients
Once the connection to Liongard is secured, you'll need to tie in company-specific information to the right company in both systems. To do so:
- Navigate to Partner > Clients
- Choose the company you want to set up for Liongard data flows.
- Click the Edit button for that company using the 3 blue-dot menu by their name.
- Choose the Integrations tab along the top of the information panel,
- Find the Liongard Environment Id area and use the Lookup button to find the right Id
- Once the Id is tied in, you'll note an additional option set at the bottom of the Integrations for the given client under Liongard Systems.
- This will let you select various information to display in the portal.
- Follow the chart below to see which integrations in Liongard will display in CloudRadial, and where:
Vendor Name | Location in CloudRadial | Further Instructions |
Veeam | Security > Backups for the specific client(s) | We currently only look for one specific type of Veeam "inspector" - "veeam-availability-console-inspector |
BitDefender | Infrastructure > Endpoints, select a specific endpoint, Security tab | Only shows if the endpoint in CloudRadial (brought in by our agent) matches the existing endpoint in Liongard by computer name |
