Vimeo is a leading video hosting service that many organizations utilize. Because of it's ability to mark videos as unlisted and "private", it's a solid selection to host training videos for your clients.
You may choose to embed these videos wherever an HTML editing option is available, such as:
- The Knowledge Base Articles
- University Course Lessons
- The Messages Section
- Confirmation Messages on Tickets
- Planner Cards
- And more!
To embed in videos from Vimeo into CloudRadial, you've got a few options described below:
Method 1: Using the Text Editor's Embed Video Option
When accessing an area that contains the HTML editor, you'll see the option to embed video via the camera icon . Selecting this icon will prompt two choices:
- Embed via URL (default and preferred)
- Embed via code
Embedding Vimeo via URL
Vimeo works great by simply pasting in the URL of your video. As a standard, the video will be pulled in and centered within the text editor.
Users will be able to play the video directly within the portal when it's embedded in this way.
Embedding Vimeo via HTML Code
Vimeo also performs flawlessly when using embedded HTML code. From Vimeo, be sure to copy the Embed Code first.
Then, paste it into CloudRadial via the second option presented when selecting the camera icon.
Users will be able to play the video directly within the portal when it's embedded in this way.
Method 2: Using the Text Editor's Manual HTML Option
For those looking for more granular control, you've got it built in - you can use the direct HTML editor option within the editor by selecting the HTML button .
Once the HTML editor is open, paste in (or create) your desired embed code here.
Lastly, remember to close the HTML editor by clicking the same code button as before, and THEN select submit to finalize the code.
