Within the Partner > Clients area of CloudRadial, partners will be able to see the 365 connection status for each company at a glance.
At a base level, the connection to 365 is tied to a company when a 365 ID has either:
- Been tied to the company within CloudRadial from connecting a Microsoft Partner's tenant (aka, running the PowerShell script from CloudRadial referenced within this article - Setting up Microsoft Partner Access – CloudRadial), or
- Been tied into the company manually via Account > Settings on a local company level
Both will achieve the same result - pulling in 365 data and allowing logins via 365 accounts.
Understanding the 365 Delegate Column
Partners will see a 365 Delegate column for each client, with a status of either:
- Yes - Accepted
- Yes
- No
Here are more details on each status:
1. Yes - Accepted
This status means that the client is managed via Delegated 365 access, and an Admin of that company has also accepted the Microsoft Cloud Agreement on behalf of their organization.
This agreement isn't mandatory to use CloudRadial. The agreement protects partners, customers and Microsoft by providing the customer's use rights, terms, and conditions granted for Microsoft Cloud product and service orders.
More details on it can be found directly from Microsoft, in a PDF linked here.
You can perform this action on behalf of the company by going to their Account > Settings area of their feature set and clicking Accept for the agreement.
The option to accept this agreement is shown by default as a pop-up for admin users as they log into the portal - more details on that pop-up (as well as how to disable it) can be found in this article: Turning Off Pop-Up Messages in CloudRadial – CloudRadial.
2. Yes
This status means that the client is managed via Delegated 365 access, but the Cloud Agreement has not yet been accepted by an Admin of the company on behalf of the organization.
Accepting the agreement via Account > Settings within the local company will cause the status to change to Yes - Accepted.
3. No
This status means that the client is not tied into any Office 365 data sync, and is therefore ineligible for the 365 status.
Understanding the 365 Graph Column
Partners will see a 365 Graph column for each client, with a status of either:
- OK
- MESSAGES
- - (Dash)
Here are more details on each status:
1. OK
A status of OK means that CloudRadial has secured a complete connection to the Microsoft 365 Graph API, which is used to pull in information around emails, usage, and even MFA status.
2. MESSAGES
A status of MESSAGES means that CloudRadial has additional notification of messages to relay to the partner regarding the client's connection to 365. These messages can be read by selecting the individual company from the Partner > Clients screen and navigating to their Office 365 tab.
In this view, you will be able to see the status of the acceptance of the Microsoft Agreement (relevant to the 365 Delegate status mentioned previously). You may also see two warning messages:
- The first message is User Log In Acceptance. This means that the 365 tenant that is tied to that company requires additional authorization on behalf of the organization to access CloudRadial. The first administrator to log into the portal with 365 credentials can accept this on behalf of the organization, and it will disappear after the first login.
- More information on how to address this can be found in this article:
Authorizing 365 Log ins to CloudRadial – CloudRadial
- More information on how to address this can be found in this article:
- The second message is Neither tenant is B2C or tenant doesn't have premium license. This message informs the partner that CloudRadial is unable to make the full API call to the Microsoft Graph, either due to a B2C tenant status or because the tenant does not have an Azure P1 license attached to it, which is mandatory for CloudRadial to be able to make the API call to display MFA information.
- More details on MFA display can be found in this article:
Reporting MFA Information – CloudRadial
- More details on MFA display can be found in this article:
2. - (Dash)
This status means that the client is not tied into any Office 365 data sync, and is therefore ineligible for the 365 Graph call.
