There is only one portal for all clients.
Users see a version of your portal based on the company they belong to and their role within the company. To see a client's portal as a user in that company, you'll need to impersonate a user in that company through a log-in process.
Impersonation is built-in throughout CloudRadial and it is accessible from several locations. Impersonations come in four varieties:
-
Impersonate Company Admin - This option puts you into a company's view as a generic company user who belongs to the Admin group and has full administration privileges. In addition, this user has some Partner-level capabilities that are typically indicated by orange icons.
-
Impersonate Company User - This option puts you into a company's view as a generic company user who belongs only to the Everyone user group and has limited privileges.
-
Impersonate Admin (All Features) - This option puts you into a company's view as a generic company user who belongs in the Admin group and that has the ability to view all feature set options, even if they're actually turned off for that company. This is useful for when you need to briefly view/manage a feature set area that is ordinarily inaccessible from usual impersonations, where the alternative would be to change the company's feature set temporarily.
- Impersonate Specific User - Accessible from the Users view under Partner > Clients, this impersonation works exactly as if you have logged in as this specific user. This is the best view for troubleshooting and double-checking specific user's views as it is 100% accurate to what they see.
-
Impersonate Specific User (Company Level) - when given the proper permission (Partner) to the Usage > Users tab, admins can then impersonate users inside their own company.
Though many client actions can be performed under the Partner section, many of the client-specific actions require you to impersonate a user and access their version of the portal in a new window.
When you close the impersonation browser tab or window, the impersonation session settings are removed.
