CloudRadial can sync Microsoft 365 user data directly to HaloPSA contacts, keeping both systems up to date automatically. When enabled, changes made in M365 - such as a new hire, title change, or phone update - flow through to the corresponding Halo contact without manual data entry.

How It Works
CloudRadial acts as the bridge between Microsoft 365 and HaloPSA. During each sync cycle, CloudRadial reads user data from M365 and pushes updates to the matching contact in HaloPSA. This uses the same three-way sync pattern that ConnectWise and Autotask Partners are already familiar with.
The sync runs automatically as part of the regular CloudRadial sync schedule. No manual triggers are required once the settings are enabled.
Enabling M365 to HaloPSA Sync
Two settings must be enabled in CloudRadial for this feature to work:
- Navigate to Partner > Client > Edit a Client in CloudRadial
- Enable PSA / Microsoft 365 Synchronization - this tells CloudRadial to push M365 data to your PSA
- Enable Sync Users for the Microsoft 365 Sync- this tells CloudRadial to include user-level fields in the sync
Both settings must be enabled for the M365-to-Halo sync to function. If only one is enabled, the sync will not run.
Fields That Sync
The following fields are synced from Microsoft 365 to HaloPSA contacts:
- Display name
- First name
- Last name
- Job title
- Phone number
- Mobile phone
Users found in both HaloPSA and Microsoft 365 are merged into a single contact in CloudRadial based on email match, following the same three-way sync pattern used by other PSAs.
How Contacts Are Matched
CloudRadial matches M365 users to HaloPSA contacts using the email address. If a user in M365 has the same email as a contact in HaloPSA, they are treated as the same person. If no match exists in Halo, CloudRadial can create a new contact (depending on your sync configuration).
If a contact is deactivated or deleted in HaloPSA, it will be automatically soft-deleted in CloudRadial during the next sync cycle. This keeps your user list clean without manual intervention.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this sync work in both directions?
The M365-to-Halo field sync is one-directional - M365 is the source of truth for the fields listed above. However, other user properties (like address, department, and priority status) do sync bidirectionally between CloudRadial and HaloPSA.
Q: What happens if I change a phone number in Halo instead of M365?
The next M365 sync cycle will overwrite the Halo value with the M365 value for the synced fields. To avoid conflicts, make changes to these fields in M365.
Q: Do I need to map users manually?
No. CloudRadial automatically matches users by email address. No manual mapping is required.
Q: How often does the sync run?
The sync runs on the regular CloudRadial sync schedule. No additional configuration is needed beyond enabling the two settings.
