Today we'll be reviewing how to set up marketing lists from contacts directly within CloudRadial.
This feature will work to export clients you've already imported into CloudRadial to an Excel file.
CloudRadial also integrates with MailChimp to directly upload lists that you can email with ease.
To get started, we'll head over to the partner, drop down on the left-hand side of the feature sets, or click on settings at the bottom on the right. We'll click on integrations now and we'll select MailChimp.
I went ahead and made a free account prior to recording this video. MailChimp allows you to send emails up to 2000 contacts for free with one list.
It's a great option for those that are looking for an email platform to get an API key to tie into CloudRadial.
I'll click on my name up here and then I'll click on my account.
And then I'll click on extras an API keys, then I'll click on the, create a key item at the bottom.
My new API key is now generated.
I'll go ahead and copy this and paste it back into CloudRadial. Then I'll click submit.
Easy now my MailChimp is synced now for the list I'll head over to the marketing option still under partner.
Then I'll click on marketing lists, the second tab over. Let's add a new one by clicking the +Add button at the top right.
Name the list something easily identifiable, like all clients.
This will pull the contacts tagged from both user groups and company groups across all clients, so it's critical you set those up correctly. Since my list is all clients, I'll do everyone across all tagged groups.
Scrolling down, we can also see two additional fields.
You can create a list of those that have certain services of yours and those that don't yet have certain services of yours with the installed and uninstalled product fields.
This is pulled from the columns within the planner, so again it's important to keep this data up to date.
Additionally, you can also specify if you want the list to be only from Office 365 contacts, and if available, I can also choose to upload this list directly into MailChimp.
It will show up there as CloudRadial with all of the contacts we specified.
Let's go ahead and create this list.
I'll refresh the page to make sure it's built.
We can now see that I've got 13 contacts with 13 unique emails within the list.
If I click on it I'll get more details on them.
I'll also head back over to MailChimp to make sure it worked and MailChimp.
I'll click on audience, and I can now see that I've got an audience with 13 contacts.
If you're not using MailChimp, all hope isn't lost. Let's make another list as an example.
I'll go ahead and add a new one again, but this time I'm gonna make it all company admins.
Now let's look at my new list.
Only three contacts the admin specified within CloudRadial. If I click on the download button here, it'll download an Excel spreadsheet that you can upload to most email tools as a list.
Experiment with building lists that work for you to create effective marketing.
