Today we'll be going over how to edit user and company email permissions and how to ensure that they're settings are configured correctly. This step is critical to ensuring any email notifications you set up with CloudRadial will go smoothly with a little bit of work, you can start communicating with your clients regularly and without fail.
Let's start by checking on the company permissions.
First, we'll navigate to partner on the left hand side of the feature sets and click on clients.
Now we'll take a look at one of our existing clients, for example, Azure dive here.
I'll go ahead and click on it and click on edit at the top right.
There's an option to need portal logo URL for enabling email message delivered to company users.
We can see that the boxes already ticked.
In fact, it will be by default.
Be sure to check this if you're having trouble with email delivery with companies.
It's a pretty simple process for companies, but now let's check on users.
Let's make our way over to the second tab.
Users, we can modify the rights of each individual user across all companies.
If I click on one for example Jeff here and then click on edit at the top right, we can quickly see if an email is enabled for the user.
The two options here are the Daily Digest, which are going to greater detail in another video, and valid email.
By default, these two options will always be on for each user.
There's also a faster way to check if email delivery is on for each user.
There's an email column right here with a red, no or green yes, depending on if they do or don't have it turned on.
While this view can be helpful, it can also be overwhelming if you've got a lot of clients loaded in. The recommended way to view and modify email permissions within a client is to navigate back to the companies tab and impersonating admin within the company.
For example Azure active here, I'll click on these three dots and click on impersonate admin CloudRadial will open a new tab for me.
Now that I'm in this particular client's view, we'll navigate over to usage on the left-hand side of the feature sets and click on users. Just like before, I can click on an individual user to modify their email preferences. However, I can also perform a mass edit from this screen using the edit-all functionality located at the top right.
I can click on multiple users and remove their ability or add their ability to receive emails.
Right now I've got myself clicked.
If I click on this email button right here, it'll ask me to enable it or not. In this case, I'll go ahead and do that.
Note that my email is already disabled if I click submit, we see my emails now enabled.
The opposite is also true. If I click on it and click on email and don't click the box. My email will go back to disabled.
This function is useful if you want your emails going out to only certain members, like administrators within a company. Set your email preferences before working with the Daily Digest to ensure the right people get the material they need.
