Strategic Direction
This month, our development team has focused on fully launching the OIDC security upgrades that we've been working on. We're also continuing our work in revamping our Role Assignment functionality and addressing critical ticket synchronization issues across PSA platforms.
We've also made significant improvements to our database maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance as your data grows.
For the upcoming period, our team is focusing on:

Partner Center Home Enhancement. We're continuing to refine the Partner Center Home experience with interactive charts, click-through functionality, and comprehensive dashboard elements to provide better insights into your client environments.

Role Management Simplification. We're improving the Role Assignment process with step-through forms, better user group management, and clearer visualization of multiple role assignments to make user permission management more intuitive.
- Ticket Management Optimization. We're enhancing ticket synchronization across all PSA platforms with better performance, detailed view options, and on-demand synchronization capabilities to provide more timely and accurate ticket information.

Feature and Feature Updates

Desktop App 4.8 Release - Released a new version of the desktop application with important security fixes to ensure safe and reliable client access to the platform.

Enhanced Role Assignment Interface - Implemented a step-through form for the Role Assignment blade, added the ability to select members and apply role assignments in bulk, and created a dedicated tab to show companies and company groups based on role assignments. This simplifies the process of managing user permissions across your organization.
This will release in the coming months, but preliminary Partner feedback is very positive! -
Partner Center Home Improvements - Enhanced Partner Center Home dashboard with ticket cache integration for charts, added click-through functionality for Feedback and Ticket charts, and implemented percentages on pie and donut charts. Made container color a global variable for consistent styling and added the ability to download charts as PNG files.

Pia SmartForms Integration - Added loading indicators for PIA SmartForms, enabled partners to customize icons and button text on PIA Service Requests, and implemented the ability to create new PIA SmartForms content packages for targeting specific forms to specific clients.
Partners will be able to opt in for the Pia SmartForms beta starting this month. Please contact success@cloudradial.com to ask your account manager for access. Please note that you must have a Pia account already, as well as existing SmartForms. -
Navigation and Access Improvements - Switched the landing page for Partner users to Partner Home, reordered the Security tabs for better organization, and implemented filtering by available permissions across multiple areas, including Clients, Feedback, Planner, Reports, Assessments, and Security pages.
Bug Fixes

Authentication and Access (Bug Fix) - Resolved issues with email token login returning 403 Forbidden errors, fixed page navigation when entering URLs manually, and addressed role application problems when impersonating users with multiple roles.

Role Management (Bug Fix) - Fixed numerous role assignment issues, including incorrect user display in members grid, company groups not showing correctly, role assignments not being applied to user groups, and roles not being removed when users are deleted from PSA or Clients->Users.

Partner Center Visualization (Bug Fix) - Corrected issues with Partner Center charts being too tall, client picker not being sorted alphabetically, policy charts not showing the right data, and ticket source types appearing duplicated instead of combined.

PSA Integration (Bug Fix) - Fixed multiple PSA integration problems, including incorrect resolved dates in ConnectWise, Kaseya support tickets returning 400 Bad Request, Autotask policy tickets not being created, and support ticket sync failures. Also addressed issues with special characters in ticket waiting field statuses.

UI and Navigation (Bug Fix) - Resolved issues with missing planner edit options, 500 internal server errors on Quick Starts page and Compliance > Policies, and intermittently invisible help icons. Fixed dark mode theme card colors and tooltip visibility in the Teams dark theme.

Platform Functionality (Bug Fix) - Addressed problems with BitDefender not passing 3rd party AV policy, the Remove 365 Users Lab functionality, database migration failures for new partners, and tickets not syncing when created through Policy.
Performance Improvements

Database Maintenance (Performance Improvement) - Implemented periodic database maintenance, used raw SQL to delete from large tables in TidyDatabaseJob, and prevented CompanyEndpointApplication updates if no changes occurred, significantly improving system performance and reducing database size.

Ticket Sync Optimization (Performance Improvement) - Improved ticket synchronization performance with better resource usage management, fixed DeadLock-Race issues in AutoTaskService, and optimized sync processes for better reliability.

UI Performance (Performance Improvement) - Investigated and addressed login screen slowness, improved chart rendering performance, and optimized page loading times across the platform.

Data Migration (Performance Improvement) - Completed data migration for CompanyGroupId in AspNetUserGroup Table, removed the unused CompanyEndpointApplicationInstall table, and updated the Z.EntityFramework license for better database performance.

Infrastructure Enhancements (Performance Improvement) - Addressed high response times for JobWorker.cloudradial.com, fixed TidyDb Job, and improved endpoint data collection for Addigy and Datto integration to provide more accurate last check-in information.
Coming Soon
We're continuing to enhance the Partner Center Home with additional visualization tools, including an Endpoint Aging chart and Endpoint Exceptions chart in the Policy Alignment section.
We're also continuing with our development of a more comprehensive Support Ticket Details blade and improving the ticket management experience with on-demand synchronization capabilities. These enhancements will provide better insights into your client environments and streamline your support processes.
