Strategic Direction
This month, our development team has focused on strengthening our security infrastructure, enhancing integration with Microsoft Teams for our new Chat feature, and addressing critical PSA integration issues.
We've also made significant progress in our technical infrastructure modernization with Angular framework upgrades and UI refinements that will improve system stability and performance.
For the upcoming period, our team is focusing on:

Partner Center Modernization. We're implementing a new Partner Center experience with improved sidebar organization, reordered security roles, and better navigation to enhance your management experience.

Authentication Security. We're continuing our planning and working towards switching to OIDC (OpenID Connect) authentication and fixing token-related security issues to provide more secure access to the platform.
- PSA Integration Reliability. We're updating our PSA integration components to improve advisory functionality and address synchronization issues with various PSA platforms.

Feature and Feature Updates

Partner Center Sidebar Improvements - Implemented changes to the Partner Center sidebar with improved organization and reordered Security > Roles to provide a more intuitive navigation experience.

Bigger Brains Integration Enhancement - Created a dedicated Bigger Brains landing page and company integration, making it easier for partners to access and deploy training content to clients.

Teams App Integration for Chat - Enhanced Microsoft Teams integration with new tab functionality for Chat, allowing users to access and interact with CloudRadial Chat directly within Teams.

Datto RMM Device Categorization - Updated Datto RMM integration to allow servers to appear in the Servers section and other devices to appear under Network, improving device organization and visibility.
Bug Fixes

Authentication and Security (Bug Fix) - Resolved critical security issues, including email token vulnerabilities that allowed login with any token, fixed Zoho token expiration timing, and addressed conflicts in partner claims to enhance platform security.

Audit Logging (Bug Fix) - Fixed issues where user information was not being logged when updates were made to users, clients, content, and planner items. Also resolved an infinite audit loop and ensured audit logs are properly reported when the OIDC flag is off.

PSA Integration (Bug Fix) - Fixed multiple issues with PSA integrations, including problems with Autotask ticket categories not populating in advisories, Halo ticket category field being empty, and Kaseya ticket type values not appearing in advisories.

UI and Navigation (Bug Fix) - Addressed sidebar menu overflow issues and collapse/expand behavior on refresh. Fixed an issue where Teams users saw a blank screen for companies where login was disabled.

Content Management (Bug Fix) - Resolved an issue where users were unable to save forms to content packages when checklists were present, and fixed profile image update/removal for Microsoft 365 users.

System Performance (Bug Fix) - Fixed regression issues causing automation to create duplicate opportunities, server overview tab not displaying data, and local job server execution failures in Postman.

Compliance and Reporting (Bug Fix) - Resolved the issue where Compliance > Reports appeared blank for specific partners, and fixed advisory generation to match PSA options.

Integration Functionality (Bug Fix) - Fixed the Bigger Brains Home Support URL and resolved issues with child company projects not being visible in CloudRadial under parent companies in Autotask.
Performance Improvements

Angular Application Upgrade (Performance Improvement) - Upgraded the Angular application to version 18 and reorganized Angular application files to follow standards, improving performance, maintainability, and enabling access to new features.

Application Insights Enhancement (Performance Improvement) - Fixed AppInsights implementation to provide better monitoring and diagnostics capabilities across the platform.

Feature Flag Management (Performance Improvement) - Created a feature flag for Partner Center v1, enabling controlled rollout of the new Partner Center experience.

Security Vulnerability Remediation (Performance Improvement) - Addressed vulnerability in Http.Json library, enhancing overall platform security.

Infrastructure Modernization (Performance Improvement) - Continued technical infrastructure modernization efforts, including code cleanup and optimization.
Coming Soon
Our Partner Center modernization initiative will continue with additional UI improvements and functionality enhancements. We're also working on completing the transition of our authentication system to OIDC for more secure and streamlined user access. These improvements will enhance security, reliability, and the overall user experience across the platform.
