Strategic Direction
This month, our development team has been focused on enhancing the stability and performance of the Planner functionality while introducing early components of our new CSA+Chat feature.
We've also made significant improvements to our PSA integrations and addressed several key issues with report generation, feedback mechanisms, and user experience.
For the upcoming period, our team is focusing on:

CSA + Chat Integration. We're developing a new method to more deeply integrate CloudRadial Chat with CloudRadial CSA that will provide seamless communication between you and your clients directly within the CloudRadial portal platform, enhancing support capabilities and client engagement.

Planner Refinement. We're continuing to improve the Planner experience with better performance, visual indicators, and deeper PSA integration for quotes and projects.
- PSA Integration Enhancement. We're strengthening our integration with key PSA systems like Kaseya, ConnectWise, and Autotask, with particular focus on time entries, contact synchronization, and ticket management.

Feature and Feature Updates

Chat Integration Components - We've begun implementing the foundational components of our new CSA-integrated Chat feature, including partner integration with feature flagging and navigation bar integration. This upcoming feature will provide a seamless communication channel between you and your clients directly within the CloudRadial platform.

Planner Visual Improvements - Added a loading indicator to the Planner Timeline for better user experience during data retrieval. We've also updated the Planner categories entity for more consistent categorization and improved the color scheme implementation for quotes and project cards.

Project Time Entry Integration - Implemented ConnectWise and Autotask time entry integration for projects, allowing you to view detailed time entries and discussion notes directly within CloudRadial, providing better visibility into project activities.

Kaseya Sync Improvements - Enhanced the speed and reliability of fetching contacts from Kaseya, with additional logging for better troubleshooting and improved error handling. This results in faster synchronization and more reliable data integration.
- Storefront Navigation - Added Storefront to the Support Home Page, making it more accessible to users and increasing visibility of this new feature.
Bug Fixes

Microsoft 365 Integration (Bug Fix) - Fixed issues with duplicate licenses listed on user & license pages and Microsoft 365 icons not loading across several tenants, providing a more accurate view of your clients' license usage.

Planner Functionality (Bug Fix) - Resolved numerous Planner issues, including problems with quote card ordering, hidden context menus, pricing display in the completed column, and inability to create planner items from assessment charts and dashboard charts.

PSA Integration (Bug Fix) - Fixed issues with ticket visibility in UK and AU regions, time entry notes not showing for projects, and errors when submitting support tickets with incorrect routing. Also resolved problems with HaloPSA feedback submissions and Teams webhook triggers.

Report Generation (Bug Fix) - Corrected problems with software listings in Partner > Reports > Software, fixed the UpdateUsageStatsJob failure, and resolved issues with Report Archives triggering alerts even when alert text wasn't present.

UI and User Experience (Bug Fix) - Fixed multiple UI issues, including non-standard PDFs not resizing properly in Quick Starts, color wheel missing from color pickers, daily digests being sent with the wrong logo, and formatting issues in support tickets.

Security and Access Control (Bug Fix) - Addressed a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Froala, fixed partner settings being visible to users with company permissions, and corrected security roles not allowing changes to PSA settings despite proper permissions.
- Compliance and Policy (Bug Fix) - Fixed the 500 error in the Compliance > Policies section when viewing By Category and By Assets tabs, and corrected an issue where application policies were only returning the first result from the exception applications list.
Performance Improvements

Database Optimization (Performance Improvement) - Completed the denormalization of CompanyApplications and implemented cleanup of CompanyLogs older than 90 days, significantly improving system performance and reducing database size.

Infrastructure Enhancements (Performance Improvement) - Added retry capability to DistributedCache for improved reliability, downgraded Hangfire to Amateur to reduce resource consumption, and made several API quality-of-life improvements.

Synchronization Reliability (Performance Improvement) - Implemented better exception handling inside Sync365AdditionalUserDataJob and fixed a potential infinite loop in Datto RMM Sync, improving system stability and reducing resource consumption.

Feature Flag Management (Performance Improvement) - Cleaned up Planner feature flags and removed our feature flag, streamlining our feature delivery process and reducing dependencies.
- UI Performance (Performance Improvement) - Updated the TopLeft integration and made various UI enhancements to improve responsiveness and user experience throughout the platform.
Coming Soon
Our new CSA-integrated Chat feature is currently in development and will provide seamless communication capabilities between you and your clients directly within the CloudRadial platform.
This feature will enhance support workflows, improve client engagement, and integrate with your existing systems. Additionally, we're continuing to enhance the Planner with improved project and quote integration, creating a more cohesive planning experience for you and your clients.
