Strategic Direction
This month, our development team has been focused on refining and enhancing the Planner functionality while introducing our exciting new Storefront feature. We've also made significant strides in security improvements across the platform and addressed numerous bugs to ensure a more stable and reliable experience for both you and your clients.
For the upcoming period, our team is focusing on:
- Planner Enhancements. We're continuing to improve the Planner experience with better filtering, sorting, and visualization options to help you manage client projects more effectively.
- Storefront Development. The new CloudRadial Storefront is being prepared for release. It will bring your clients an integrated shopping experience with customization options and PSA integration.
- Security Hardening. We're upgrading our security infrastructure, including certificate signing processes and addressing potential vulnerabilities to keep your data safe.
As always, please take a look below for details on what's changed in this update.
Feature and Feature Updates
-
CloudRadial Storefront V1 - Our new Storefront feature is nearing completion, allowing you to provide a customizable shopping experience for your clients. This integration includes partner and company setup, customization options, usage tracking, and secure authentication. Storefront will allow your clients to browse and purchase products directly within the portal, with integration to PSA systems for streamlined ordering.
-
Planner Timeline Improvements - We've updated the Planner with a new format that includes customizable labels and improved timeline visualization. The Planner now correctly tracks completion dates and provides better management of timeline data. We've also renamed "Install Date" to "Completed Date" for clarity.
-
Enhanced Planner Permissions - The Planner now properly respects user permission levels (personal, company, read-only) when interacting with planner cards and content, ensuring proper access control while maintaining functionality.
- Security Certificate Update - Due to industry-wide changes in certificate storage requirements, we've updated our signing process for the agent and desktop application installers. The new certificates use SHA256 instead of SHA1, include timestamps, and are signed by "Azurative, LLC" (previously "Azurative LLC"). This improves security and ensures ongoing compatibility with modern systems.
