Adding the CloudRadial Chat Chatbox to a Wordpress Site

WordPress is one of the most popular platforms for websites, and it is easy to add the CloudRadial Chat chatbox to your WordPress site. We recommend using one of several free and easy-to-use WordPress plugins that allow you to quickly edit the header and footer.

Adding the Chatbox to All Pages

For our sample WordPress site, we use a plugin named Insert Headers and Footers. The following instructions use that plugin, but there are several other similar plugins with the same features. This guide will apply to most of them. 

To add the chatbox to all pages:

1. Log into your Wordpress site with your admin credentials
2. Navigate to Settings
3. Select WP Headers and Footers
   
   
   
   
4. On the WP Headers and Footers page, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the area labeled Scripts in Footer 
5. Paste in the HTML snippet you copied from the Web channel page
6. Select Save to finalize your HTML entry

Then, the chatbot avatar should be immediately visible on all pages of your site.

Adding the Chatbox to a Specific Page

If you want the chatbox to appear on a specific page (or pages) in your WordPress site, you can edit specific pages by following these instructions:

1. Log into the Wordpress site with your admin credentials
2. Navigate to the page that you wish to add the chatbox to

3. From the Page Edit screen, you can add a Custom HTML block, as shown in the image below
   
   
   
   

4. Paste the HTML snippet from the Web channel into the editor area on the right

5. Once done, Save the page

The chatbox avatar should be immediately visible on the page.
