Connectors are the building blocks that CloudRadial Chat uses to communicate with other tools, such as a PSA, a database, or an SMS service.
Some channels, like the Microsoft Teams channel, are associated with a connector to tell Chat how to communicate. Other connectors provide a connection to a system like Datto Autotask or Connectwise Manage.
Creating a Connector
To create a connector:
- Navigate to Connectors from the left-hand feature set menu
- Select New Connector at the top right

Choose the Connector you want to set up and follow the specific Connector's prompts
Note that you can also easily activate and de-activate the Connector using the toggle tabs on the right.
About Connector Types
All connectors have a type that describes what they do. For example, the Autotask connector and the Manage connector are both CRM connector types.
- This means they share a common set of capabilities, like querying for contacts or creating tickets. You can create custom chatops commands that access the Connectors in script.
